Sabor Dominicano is a cultural and tasting tour, where you can learn about and delight in a very close way the processes of tobacco, chocolate and Dominican rum. Enjoy the true typical Dominican flavors.
Where you will have the opportunity to visit the Vega Fina cigar factory, considered one of the best premium cigars in the world. From the processing of tobacco leaves from the fields to the packaging of cigarettes.
We continue the tour visiting Chocopunto, a chocolate factory where you can observe live through glass each of the steps necessary for the manufacture of excellent quality chocolate. Then you will go to the tasting area where you will receive
samples of chocolates, as well as liqueurs, punches and cocoa-based ice creams that they also manufacture.
We continue with the visit to the Cave of Wonders, where we can explore and contemplate the incredible rock formations it houses. Its geological formation is dominated by coral formations and the animals that inhabited the place at the end of the Pleistocene.
We finish by visiting the Historical Center of the city of San Pedro de Macoris, where we will take a tour of the famous Barceló Rum factory, founded in 1930, where we can learn about the history of Dominican Rum, live the experience of breathing, observing and feel the true essence of Ron Barceló, and appreciate the quality of our rums.
