SUNSIDE TRAVEL S.R.L wants you to enjoy your vacation to the fullest, so we recommend that you carefully read and obey the instructions of your sales agent. Please read the following conditions carefully, as it is your contract with SUNSIDETRAVEL S.R.L. By booking a trip with SUNSIDE TRAVEL S.R.L, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, which describe, among other things, our cancellation policy and certain limitations of liability at the time of making your reservation.

The contract is between SUNSIDE TRAVEL S.R.L. (also known as the company) and the client, who is the person traveling or attempting to travel on a tour operated by the company. You, the client, are subject to having read and understood our travel policy as set out below. By making a reservation by phone, through the website, or by email, you agree to and are bound by these Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the Company and the Client in relation to the subject matter hereof, and shall constitute a binding agreement. There is no verbal or written representation, warranty, guarantee agreement, prior agreement, description of services, or conditions or any promise of refund other than as herein expressed. The service to be provided is/are the tour(s) mentioned in the booking confirmation.

SUNSIDE TRAVEL S.R.L. is committed to offering a personalized service, according to your needs and interests, therefore, the preparation of your trip programming involves a correct description of each itinerary, an order of the services selected and chosen according to your needs. SUNSIDE TRAVEL S.R.L, is a travel agency accredited by the Ministry of Tourism and registered as a corporation of the Ministry of Tourism Office of the Dominican Republic.

 

RESERVATION AND PAYMENT

 

  • All reservation requests will be answered according to the demand within a period of 36 hours after receiving it. After receiving the reservation request, it will be processed and a notification of receipt is sent to the client.

CHANGES IN RESERVATIONS

The company reserves the right to modify any of the facilities, services or prices described in the brochure or website. If such a change is made, the client will be informed at the time of booking or when the change occurs. While the company will endeavor to operate all tours as announced, reasonable changes in the itinerary may be made when deemed necessary or convenient by the Company due to external factors beyond the company’s control.

For standard tours (private and small group), cancellations made at least 30 days prior to the tour date are eligible for a 100% refund or 100% future travel credit (except ticket, reservation, and applicable service fees). Cancellations made between 29 days and 48 hours prior to the tour date are eligible for a 50% refund or 50% future travel credit, less any ticket, reservation, and/or applicable

service fees. All sales are final within 48 hours of the tour date. Venue tickets and reservation fees are non-refundable and non- transferable and cannot be used without a SUNSIDE tour. In the event that you request a rescheduled tour, SUNSIDE will need to purchase and charge for new tickets / reservation fees.

Sunside Travel spends a great deal of staff time organizing tours and reservations, and last-minute changes can cause significant disruption to our team and to our experts; for this reason, last minute changes are not guaranteed. Changes made to reservations follow the same policies as the above. Changes requested in advance of 30 days may be made without charge, though new ticket and service fees may be incurred. Simple date/time changes within 29 days – 48 hours will be attempted by our team but are not guaranteed dependent on guide and ticket availability and are subject to a $50 fee per tour.

We understand that travel can be very unpredictable! If your change or cancel request is due to circumstances out of your control, please be in touch with our team at info@sunsidetravel.com with supporting documentation of your travel disruption to discuss any possible exceptions. Our team will do our best to honor any requests for changes within 24 hours of booking.

CANCELLATION POLICIES

Early Cancellation Penalty

-There Is No Penalty If Cancellations Are Made 30 Days Before Arrival or Events.

-50% will be refunded from 29 to 03 days before arrival, reservations or event and clients may move the date according to availability.

-No Refund Will Be made, from 3 To 1 days before the arrival, reservation or event and clients may move the date according to availability.

-24-Hour Notice Is Required to Modify an Appointment.

-In Case of Suffering an Accident or Illness, You Must Send Us Proof Such As: Medical Certificate and Discharge, (Signed and Sealed).

Please review the following terms of service (the “Terms of Service”), which will govern your registration with and use of the Sunside Travel website www.sunsidetravel.com (the “Site”), including all content and services provided by Sunside Travel SRL (“SunsideTravel,” “us,” “we” or “our”) on or in conjunction with the Site including, but not limited to, booking, private and small group tours, and other goods and services (the “Services”), and excepting certain exclusions as noted below.

 

By accessing or using the Site you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service as well as the terms of the Privacy Policy, which is available on the Site.

 

We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to change or modify portions of these Terms of Service at any time. If we do so, we will post the changes on this page and will indicate at the top of this page the date the revised Terms of Service were effective. Booking and Payment.

  1. By booking a reservation for the Services through the Site, you acknowledge that you accept these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. In addition, you warrant that you are 18 years of age or older, that you possess the legal authority to enter into these Terms of Service, use this Site and, book the Services or purchase goods, and that all information you supply is and will be true and accurate. You further agree that you will use the booking functionality of this Site to make only legitimate reservations for you or others for whom you are legally authorized to act. Any false or fraudulent reservation is prohibited, and any user who attempts such a reservation may have his or her Account terminated.

Private and group tours – You may cancel reservations for small group and private tours up to thirty (30) days prior to the service date and receive a 100% refund or future travel credit, reservation, and applicable service fees. Within thirty (30) days, you may cancel up to forty-eight (48) hours in advance of the reservation start date and time for a 50% refund or future travel credit, reservation, and applicable service fees; we will retain the 50% balance to cover the costs incurred to arrange for the tour. Within 48 hours of the reservation start date and time, all sales are final and fully nonrefundable for private and small group tours.

“Unforeseeable events” – If you are canceling a reservation for a small group or private tour due to “unforeseeable events” out of your control up to (more than) forty-eight (48) hours of the date and time of service, you will be offered a free reschedule or will receive full (100%) travel credit to your Sunside account, less reservation fees and applicable service fees. Within forty-eight (48) hours of the date and time of service, all sales are final and fully non-refundable.

Changes made by you – Changes requested in advance of 30 days may be made without charge, less any ticket, reservation, and applicable service fees. Requests to change the date or time of a tour made within 29 days – 48 hours are not guaranteed and are subject to a $50 fee per tour. Substantive itinerary changes requested between 29 days – 48 hours of tour date will be treated as a cancellation and are subject to a penalty of 50% of the original tour cost to cover irrecoverable fees. All sales are final within 48 hours and no changes can be made. Our team will do our best to honor changes to bookings made less than 24-hour prior, however, if tickets have already been purchased those will be nonrefundable.

Changes and Cancellation by Sunside Travel: We will make every reasonable effort to provide the Services in accordance with the descriptions provided on our Site. Although it is unlikely that we will have to make any changes to your reservation or cancel confirmed reservations, we reserve the right to do so should it become necessary or advisable. If we cancel your reservation, we will provide you either a credit that you may use towards another Service or a full refund at our discretion.

Medical Conditions, Disabilities and General Health.

  1. If you make a reservation for a Service, we will assume that you have no medical conditions, disabilities, general health issues or food or allergy issues (“Medical Conditions”) that would prevent or hamper you from participating in the Services. In the event that you do in fact have any Medical Conditions, we will attempt to accommodate said Medical Conditions when we can and it is reasonable to do However, we do not guarantee that we or the venue can or will make any such accommodations. In the event that you cannot participate in the Services because of undisclosed Medical Conditions, we may, in our sole discretion, offer a substitute Service or cancel your reservation without refund. Please contact us or the appropriate venue if you are unsure about whether you are able to participate in a Service.
  2. Under no circumstances should you travel or use the Services if your doctor has advised you against it, or would advise you against it if consulted.
